Sharon Sarah - Chief Executive Officer Expand Sharon Sarah has worked in the health and community sector for 25 years, primarily in the mental health sector and is currently the CEO of Bridges Health & Community Care. She manages a diverse multidisciplinary workforce including people with a lived experience of mental illness and addictions. Sharon is passionate about system reform and collaborative practice to enhance consumer and carer outcomes, building a professional, sustainable mental health and alcohol and other drug workforce and strong clinical governance, particularly program fidelity and evidence based practice. She is committed to lifelong learning, sourced through both the health and business sector. She is a registered Psychologist with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology and Masters in Mental Health Practice. Sharon was the Branch Chair of the Australian Psychological Society for many years, now a committee member and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management (FAIM).
Sam Philips - Human Resource Manager Expand Samantha Philips is the Human Resources Manager at Bridges Health & Community Care Ltd managing all general HR practices and objectives to ensure an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasises quality, productivity, goal attainment, and empowerment. She partners with other senior staff to identify HR priorities and recommend appropriate people management solutions in relation to organisational development, performance, culture, and change to deliver positive outcomes. Samantha joined Bridges in 2014, and during that time has seen the organisation significantly expand its range of programs throughout rural and regional Queensland. Holding a Bachelor of Business majoring in Management and Human Resource Management, Samantha is passionate about strengthening engagement, performance, and culture in order to develop organisational capability, drive positive community outcomes, and enhance the overall employee experience
Maree Bowman - Quality Manager & Staff Development Expand Maree Bowman joined the Bridges Executive Team in August of 2019 as the Quality and Staff Development Manager. Her previous experience has been in healthcare with the Australian Defence Force and the Private Hospital sector managing their Quality Management Systems and Staff Development programs. Maree's role at Bridges Health & Community Care involves the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the effectiveness of the Quality Management System and other initiatives of the organisation. She ensures compliance with quality standards, developing quality control processes and identify staff training and development needs within the organisational strategic goals.
