Bridges Health & Community Care (Bridges) provides clinical and community support to those throughout Regional Queensland. For over 23-years, the team at Bridges has been working in your community helping people with their mental health concerns, with problematic drug and/or alcohol use, as well as offering disability and employment services, transition from prison services, and youth bail support services.

We’re here to help our community

Bridges has been providing mental health and community access throughout the Wide Bay-Burnett region for over twenty years.

Bridges was founded by mental health clinicians who believed that people are the experts in their own life and have the best understanding of themselves. Twenty years on, this belief continues to be the basis for how we work with the community.

Since Bridges first commenced it has worked hard to improve the health, social, and economic engagement outcomes for all people of all ages and circumstances.

Whilst our team has grown dramatically from humble beginnings, it is important for us that all our staff, including clinicians share our mission, our vision, and our values.

Our belief in a client to be self-determination underscores our decision to offer professional and ethical NDIS services to our clients.

Bridges is proud to provide a range of NDIS services to the community.

In delivering these services, we focus on working with you to build capacity and independence, endorsing an independent, productive, and social life. These services are delivered by our incredible team.

A team made up of qualified staff, staff who have walked similar paths to you and a supportive and friendly administration staff. This means, that when you become part of the Bridges community, you know that you will be treated with respect and dignity.

Because we don’t take your personal growth lightly.

We are focused on your goals, your story, and what you want to achieve because you are the expert in your life.

We’re excited about the recovery coaching service

Recovery coaching services may be new to the NDIS, but not to Bridges. It is something we have been doing since we started the service in Svensson Street, Bundaberg over two decades ago.

The beliefs around recovery coaching, to foster independence and self-determination, and having a voice in you own life continue to be a cornerstone of the values of Bridges.

Bridges have a team of qualified mental health practitioners and certified personal medicine coaches that have the great privilege of working with our recovery coaching clients and are excited to embark on the journey to achieve your goals alongside you.

We’re proud that people remark on how different we are to work with.

Our teams are all qualified in community, or health disciplines, and we only seek to employ values and purpose-driven professionals.

In addition to professional qualifications, we also seek workers who have unique lived experiences.

Bridges doesn’t want people who are here for the “j-o-b”. We employ people who are passionate about their work and want to see others live their best and most authentic lives. It is important to us that everyone in our team is a values-lead and ethical individual.
