Senior Occupational Therapist

We have an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health team. You will have the support of our wider leadership team and corporate services team.

This role is perfect for OTs with 5 years’ experience within the community and/or NDIS sectors.

We are excited by this opportunity in our Allied Health team. This role, Senior Occupational Therapist will specifically shape and lead our team of clinicians in the Wide Bay-Burnett region.

To be considered for this leadership role, you will have:

  • Qualifications in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience with NDIS participants
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a close-knit team
  • Experience managing day to day employee matters such as rosters, performance, mentoring, etc.
  • Work with staff, clients, families, and other key stakeholders to understand and resolve concerns and/or complaints as they arise
  • Onboard new team members into the program in an engaged manner
  • Coordinate and run effective team meetings with the wider Allied Health
  • Foster an environment where you and your team will collaborate openly with other members of the Bridges team across the Wide Bay-Burnett region

To succeed in this role, you will be an exceptional clinician with a high level of leadership capabilities. You are a highly values-driven clinician, looking to work for an organisation that is run by clinicians. If it’s you we’ve been searching for, you will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in this clinical focus. With so much experience, you will be a strong communicator, you’ll be dedicated, flexible, and IT-savvy with a strong comprehension of community resources, treatment services and referral networks.

It is a Bridges requirement to obtain the following licences before commencement:

  • Blue Card for working with children and young people
  • Yellow Card Exemption, and/or NDIS Worker Screening Card
  • Current Queensland Driver's Licence (open)
  • The right to work in Australia

We have an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health team. You will have the support of our Senior Occupational Therapist, our Clinical Lead, and our wider Leadership Team. This role is perfect for OTs with 1- or 2-years’ experience within the Community and/or NDIS sectors. Our clinicians work as part of a team of OTs and AHAs with regular mentorships
