Access and eligibilityService locationOur approach Access and eligibility The Time to Work Employment Service is funded by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment to assist sentenced Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander prisoners to get job ready prior to release. The program is voluntary. Service location We deliver the Time to Work Employment Service exclusively in Maryborough Correctional Centre. Our approach We work with prisoners to identify barriers to employment, develop transition plans and then assist with facilitated transfer to a job provider. We work in partnership with Cultural Liaison Officers in prison and cultural workers in local communities to improve cultural connection and reduce risk of relapse through strong local partnerships.
