180 Degree Day Rehabilitation Program

This program is a 6 - 8 week intensive specialist program, providing people an opportunity to improve their health and wellbeing and reduce problematic alcohol and/or drug use. This program is for anyone with drug and/or alcohol issues, wanting to change their lives through the reduction of harmful substances.

About Bridges 180 Program

The Bridges 180 program is a 6 to 8-week intensive specialist program. This provides people with an opportunity to improve their health and wellbeing and reduce problematic alcohol and/or drug use.  Bridges programs are not abstinence-based but we are able to support you with that.

We have found that day rehabilitation provides clients with an authentic opportunity to achieve sustainable recovery from their alcohol and other drug problems in a supportive group setting.

This is done under the guidance of our experienced clinicians who specialise in mental health, substance use, and recovery-oriented practice.

When you do a 180, it means you’re heading in the opposite direction to where you were going.

Throughout the program, clients participate in both group and individual alcohol and other drug counselling sessions.

After the program has been completed, it is followed by our two-week aftercare support program, which helps keep you on track to achieve your personal goals.

Bridges approach

We use a harm minimization approach. This means first and foremost; our goal is to assist our client in reducing the harmful effects of drugs and/or alcohol. This may be where substances are used in excess, or places a person at risk (health, relationships, employment, and the law).

Our clinical team assists people with their underlying mental health issues through trauma-informed counselling and referral for more intense psychological services.

Bridges is culturally sensitive and has Indigenous cultural support workers available to clients.

No Wrong Door

The “no wrong door” policy means we can help you address both your mental health, alcohol and/or drug issues.
