About us
Bridges is the longest established and leading provider of community-based mental health and drug and alcohol rehabilitation & treatment services for youth, adults and families in the Queensland Wide Bay and Fraser Coast communities currently operating in Central Queensland; Rockhampton, and surrounding towns as well as North and South Burnett Regions.

Services to our communities include early intervention for children, youth and families, psychological services, community-based mental health services and counselling and support programs. We also offer NDIS support coordination and recovery coaching.

Bridges provides offender support services for those with experience of correctional facilities, Youth Bail Support Service, support for those living with mental illness after release from Central Queensland Correctional Centres. We also provide pre and post transition support services in the North Coast Queensland Corrective Services Catchment.
Our staff
Our dedicated and highly professional staff hold relevant qualifications and experience practicing in mental health, alcohol and other drugs, or both.
Several staff identify as having lived experience of mental illness or substance misuse. We also employ cultural workers and intentional peer support workers.

Bridges' board and senior management team are committed to an inclusive and supportive environment for all staff. That commitment includes continued professional development, clinical supervision, clinical governance and regular performance reviews.

Bridges is a public company limited by guarantee and is governed by the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission, and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.
